Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 cup diced carrots
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced (optional)
- Optional herbs: parsley or thyme
Instructions
- Sauté the ground turkey in olive oil over medium heat until golden brown, breaking it apart as it cooks.
- Add diced carrots and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until they begin to soften.
- Incorporate the fresh spinach and stir until wilted.
- Season with minced garlic, remembering that less is more.
- Cool completely before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. You can also freeze portions for up to three months.
