- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup salted caramel sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt flakes
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream the butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
- Add in the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and sea salt, then gradually add to the butter mixture.
- Fold in the salted caramel sauce.
- Scoop the dough onto the baking sheets, leaving space for spreading.
- Top with sea salt and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Chill the dough for 30 minutes to prevent spreading. Use room temperature ingredients for best results.
