Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup salted caramel sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream the butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
  3. Add in the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and sea salt, then gradually add to the butter mixture.
  5. Fold in the salted caramel sauce.
  6. Scoop the dough onto the baking sheets, leaving space for spreading.
  7. Top with sea salt and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
