- 1 cup pure pumpkin puree
- 1 cup grated carrots
- 1/2 cup dog-safe peanut butter
- 2 large eggs
- 2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- Combine 1 cup of pure pumpkin puree, 1 cup of grated carrots, and 1/2 cup of peanut butter in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
- Add two eggs to the mixture and stir until fully incorporated.
- Gradually mix in 2 1/2 cups of whole wheat flour until the dough is workable.
- Roll the dough out on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick.
- Use your favorite cookie cutter to create fun shapes.
- Place the cookies on the prepared baking sheet and bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until golden and firm.
- Allow them to cool completely before serving.
Notes
Be cautious not to overbake the cookies to maintain the right texture for your dog.
