Ingredients
- 1 package of pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Olive oil (for drizzling)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a rectangular shape, about 1/2 inch thick. Cut into 1-inch wide strips.
- Take each strip, tie it into a knot, and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat, add the minced garlic, and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- Brush the garlic butter over the knots and sprinkle half the grated Parmesan over them.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed up.
- Once out of the oven, brush again with remaining garlic butter and sprinkle with more Parmesan and chopped herbs.
- Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding crushed red pepper flakes or substituting with different cheeses like mozzarella or cheddar.
