Delicious, buttery knots infused with garlic and topped with parmesan cheese, making for a cozy family snack or appetizer.

  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 package of pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Olive oil (for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a rectangular shape, about 1/2 inch thick. Cut into 1-inch wide strips.
  3. Take each strip, tie it into a knot, and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat, add the minced garlic, and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  5. Brush the garlic butter over the knots and sprinkle half the grated Parmesan over them.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed up.
  7. Once out of the oven, brush again with remaining garlic butter and sprinkle with more Parmesan and chopped herbs.
  8. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding crushed red pepper flakes or substituting with different cheeses like mozzarella or cheddar.
