A delicious and nutritious liver pâté recipe made especially for your furry friends, packed with flavor and health benefits.

  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken liver
  • 1 cup bone broth (or low-sodium chicken broth)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh herbs (parsley or thyme, to taste)

Instructions

  1. Rinse the chicken liver under cold water to remove any residual blood. Pat it dry with a paper towel.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat, add a tablespoon of olive oil, and sauté the chicken liver for about 5 minutes, until it’s browned but still slightly pink in the center.
  3. Pour in a cup of bone broth and bring it to a gentle simmer. Cook for an additional 10 minutes.
  4. Remove the mixture from heat, allow it to cool slightly, and transfer it to a food processor. Add your choice of herbs.
  5. Pulse until smooth; retain some texture if your dog prefers that.
  6. Scoop the pâté into a container, let it cool completely, and refrigerate. Use within one week.

Notes

Do not overcook the liver to maintain moisture and tenderness. Clean any leftover pâté in an airtight container in the fridge.
