A nutritious and flavorful meal for your furry friend, made with liver and wholesome veggies.

  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Liver (beef, chicken, or lamb)
  • 1 cup diced Vegetables (carrots, peas, sweet potatoes)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh herbs (parsley or basil)
  • 1 cup low-sodium broth (chicken or beef)
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil or butter

Instructions

  1. Rinse the liver under cold water to remove any impurities. Cut it into bite-sized pieces for even cooking.
  2. Heat a tablespoon of olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat. Once it’s warm, add the liver pieces and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Remove the liver from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, sauté the diced veggies until they’re soft, about 5-10 minutes.
  4. Return the liver to the skillet and pour in a splash of broth, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle fresh herbs and mix everything well. Let it cool before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. Introduce any new food gradually to your dog’s diet.
