Ingredients
- 1 pound ground lamb or lamb chunks
- 2 cups fresh carrots, chopped
- 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken or vegetable broth
- Fresh herbs (thyme, rosemary, or parsley) for garnish
Instructions
- Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add your ground lamb (or chopped lamb chunks) and sauté until browned and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes.
- Stir in 2-3 minced garlic cloves, letting them sauté for a minute until fragrant.
- Add 2 cups of chopped carrots and sauté for an additional 5-7 minutes.
- Pour in 1 cup of low-sodium broth and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Cook for 10-15 minutes.
- Finish by adding fresh herbs to taste and adjust salt and pepper before serving.
- Serve warm and garnish with remaining herbs.
Notes
This recipe is for both dogs and humans! You can substitute the lamb with lean ground turkey or chicken if preferred.
