Ingredients
- 2 sweet potatoes
- 1 cup blueberries
- 2 cups whole wheat flour (or oat/almond flour for gluten-free)
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup dog-safe peanut butter (without xylitol)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Peel and chop your sweet potatoes, then steam or boil until fork-tender (15-20 minutes).
- Mash the sweet potatoes in a mixing bowl until smooth. Add blueberries, eggs, and peanut butter. Stir until well combined.
- Gradually add the whole wheat flour to the mixture and combine.
- Roll the dough out on a floured surface to about half an inch thick. Cut out shapes with cookie cutters.
- Place the chews on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool completely before serving.
Notes
Ensure that all ingredients are dog-safe; avoid using chocolate or xylitol. Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
