Ingredients

  • 2 sweet potatoes
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour (or oat/almond flour for gluten-free)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup dog-safe peanut butter (without xylitol)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Peel and chop your sweet potatoes, then steam or boil until fork-tender (15-20 minutes).
  3. Mash the sweet potatoes in a mixing bowl until smooth. Add blueberries, eggs, and peanut butter. Stir until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the whole wheat flour to the mixture and combine.
  5. Roll the dough out on a floured surface to about half an inch thick. Cut out shapes with cookie cutters.
  6. Place the chews on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool completely before serving.
