Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened peanut butter
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour (or oatmeal flour for gluten-free)
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 beaten egg (or flaxseed egg)
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
  • Water or low-sodium broth as needed

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine 1 cup unsweetened peanut butter, 1 cup whole wheat flour, 1 cup rolled oats, 1 beaten egg, and 1 tablespoon honey in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Mix until it forms a dough; add water or broth as needed.
  4. Knead the dough gently on a floured surface until smooth, and roll out to about ½ inch thick.
  5. Cut out shapes using cookie cutters and place on a lined baking sheet.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
  7. Cool before serving and store in an airtight container.
