Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • ½ cup all-natural peanut butter (unsweetened)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • Honey (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 6-inch round cake pan with a little peanut butter.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas until smooth in a mixing bowl.
  3. Add the peanut butter and mix well until combined.
  4. Beat in the egg until well mixed.
  5. Gradually add the whole wheat flour and baking powder, stirring until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let it cool for 5-10 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
  9. Spread peanut butter on top as frosting if desired!
