Ingredients
- 2 cups Carrots, fresh
- 1/2 cup Peanut Butter, xylitol-free
- 1/2 cup Water
- Optional: Apple slices or pumpkin puree for variety
Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients: Begin by gathering all your ingredients. Wash and peel the carrots for a clean taste.
- Blend: Cut the carrots into smaller pieces for fast blending. Place the carrots in a blender or food processor with water and blend until smooth, adding more water as necessary to achieve the desired consistency.
- Mix in the peanut butter: Once your carrots are pureed, add in your peanut butter and give it another quick blend until well integrated.
- Pour and freeze: Carefully pour the mixture into ice cube trays or silicone molds. Freeze for at least 180 minutes or until solid.
- Pop them out: Once frozen, gently twist the trays to release your dog treats. Store them in an airtight container.
- Serve chilled: These treats are great on their own or can be served as a refreshing topping on kibble during hot days.
Notes
Ensure to avoid any harmful ingredients such as xylitol and check for dog allergies before serving.
