Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- 1 cup carrots, chopped
- 1 cup pumpkin (not spiced)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup low sodium broth
- Herbs (optional: parsley)
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the turkey and sauté until browned and cooked through, about 5–7 minutes.
- Stir in chopped carrots and cook for another 3–4 minutes until softened.
- Add the spinach, letting it wilt down, which should take 2–3 minutes.
- Stir in the pumpkin and a splash of broth, mixing thoroughly and letting it simmer for an additional minute.
- Remove from heat, allow to cool, and serve at your dog’s preferred temperature.
Notes
Avoid using too much salt; dogs are sensitive to sodium. Do not add onions or garlic as they can be toxic to dogs.
