Ingredients

  • 1 lb Lean Ground Meat (beef, chicken, or turkey)
  • 1 cup Chopped Carrots
  • 1 cup Peas
  • 1 cup Cooked Brown Rice or Quinoa
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil or Flaxseed Oil
  • 2 cups Low-Sodium Chicken or Beef Broth
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Parsley or Spinach

Instructions

  1. Cook the meat in a large skillet over medium heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add chopped carrots and peas, sauté for another 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in cooked brown rice or quinoa.
  4. Pour in the low-sodium broth and add olive oil, mixing thoroughly.
  5. Optionally, add herbs and let simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. Cool completely before serving to your dog.
  7. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days or freeze for future meals.
