Ingredients
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 large egg
- 2 cups whole wheat flour (or oat/rice flour for gluten-free)
- 1 cup rolled oats (gluten-free if needed)
- 1 tablespoon fresh or dried rosemary
- 1 tablespoon fresh or dried parsley
- 1 clove garlic (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine the chicken broth and egg in a mixing bowl, whisk until frothy.
- Add the flour and rolled oats, mixing until thick dough forms.
- Fold in the herbs and any optional ingredients.
- Roll out the dough to half an inch thick on a floured surface.
- Cut into shapes with cookie cutters or slice into squares.
- Place on a parchment-lined tray and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool completely before serving.
Notes
These biscuits can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week. They can also be frozen for up to three months.
