Ingredients
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup peanut butter (dog-safe)
- 1 egg
- 2-3 cups whole wheat flour (or oat/almond flour)
- 1 tsp cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Combine pumpkin puree, peanut butter, and egg in a mixing bowl. Mix until well blended.
- Add in whole wheat flour gradually, mixing until dough pulls away from the sides.
- Roll out the dough to 1/4 inch thick and use cookie cutters to create shapes.
- Place cutouts on the baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.
- Cool completely before freezing or serving.
Notes
Make sure to let the treats cool completely before freezing to avoid ice crystals.
