Ingredients
- 2 cups boneless, skinless fish fillets (salmon, cod, or haddock)
- 1 cup chopped carrots
- 1 cup peas
- 1 cup diced sweet potatoes
- 4 cups low-sodium chicken or fish broth
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 clove garlic (optional, used carefully)
Instructions
- Prep the vegetables by chopping them into bite-sized pieces and measure out fish into chunks.
- Sauté the vegetables in a large pot with a splash of water or broth over medium heat for 3-5 minutes.
- Add the fish pieces and cook for another 5-7 minutes until fully cooked.
- Pour in the low-sodium broth, bringing it to a low boil before simmering for 10 minutes.
- Finish by stirring in chopped parsley just before serving.
- Cool the stew to room temperature before serving to your dog.
