Ingredients
- 1 cup pumpkin purée
- 1/2 cup peanut butter (xylitol-free)
- 1 egg
- 2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix the pumpkin purée, peanut butter, and egg in a large bowl.
- Add the whole wheat flour and cinnamon, mixing until a dough forms.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface to 1/4 inch thick.
- Cut the dough into desired shapes using cookie cutters.
- Bake on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 20 to 30 minutes until edges are golden brown.
- Cool completely on a wire rack before serving.
Notes
Allow treats to cool completely to avoid crumbling. Store in an airtight container for up to a week or freeze for longer storage.
