Delicious, healthy gummy treats made with pumpkin, peanut butter, and honey, perfect for your furry friend.

  • Total Time: 180 minutes
  • Yield: 20 treats

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unflavored gelatin
  • 1 cup pureed pumpkin
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter (xylitol-free)
  • 1/4 cup honey (or pure maple syrup)
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients: Gather all your ingredients and have them ready to go on your kitchen counter.
  2. Bloom the gelatin: In a medium saucepan, pour about a cup of water. Sprinkle the unflavored gelatin over the water and let it sit for about 5 minutes.
  3. Heat and combine: Place the saucepan over low heat. Stir gently until the gelatin completely dissolves—this should take about 2-3 minutes. Do not boil!
  4. Add the flavor: Once the gelatin is dissolved, add in your pureed pumpkin and peanut butter. Stir well to combine all the flavors and add honey or maple syrup.
  5. Pour into molds: Carefully pour the mixture into silicone molds.
  6. Chill: Place the molds in the refrigerator for about 2-3 hours until the treats are completely set.
  7. Pop them out: Once set, gently remove the gummy treats from the molds. Store them in an airtight container.

Notes

These treats can also be frozen for longer storage. Avoid using flavored gelatin and ensure every ingredient is dog-safe.
