Homemade gummies made with fresh apples and natural ingredients, perfect for your furry friend.

  • Total Time: 180 minutes
  • Yield: 10 servings

Ingredients

  • Fresh Apples (e.g. Pink Lady or Fuji)
  • 1 cup Apple Juice (100% Natural)
  • 1/4 cup Gelatin
  • 1-2 tablespoons Honey or Maple Syrup
  • 1/2 cup Water

Instructions

  1. Prep the apples: Start by washing and coring your apples. Then, slice them thinly, ensuring you remove any seeds.
  2. Cook the apples: In a saucepan, combine the sliced apples with half a cup of water and cook over medium heat until softened, about 10 minutes.
  3. Blend: Once cooked, let the apples cool slightly. Transfer to a blender, adding apple juice for smoothness, and blend until creamy.
  4. Dissolve the gelatin: In a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin over a quarter cup of cold water and allow it to sit for about 5 minutes.
  5. Combine ingredients: In the saucepan, combine the blended apple mixture with the dissolved gelatin and your sweetener. Stir gently over low heat until well mixed.
  6. Pour into molds: Pour the mixture into silicone molds.
  7. Set: Place the molds in the refrigerator and let them set for about 2–3 hours.
  8. Release and serve: Carefully remove the gummies from the molds and store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.

Notes

Avoid artificial sweeteners like xylitol, and ensure apples are cooked thoroughly for maximum flavor.
