- 1 lb Chicken (breast or thighs)
- 2 medium Zucchini, diced
- 1 cup Sweet peas, fresh or frozen
- 2 cups Low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 large Carrot, sliced
- 2 tbsp Fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
Instructions
- Prep the Ingredients: Gather your ingredients and chop the chicken into bite-sized pieces, finely dice the zucchini, and slice the carrots.
- Sauté the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add Vegetables: Toss in the zucchini and carrots, and sauté for another 3-4 minutes.
- Pour in the Broth: Add the low-sodium chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Introduce the Sweet Peas: After simmering for about 10 minutes, stir in the sweet peas and heat for 1-2 minutes.
- Garnish with Fresh Parsley: Sprinkle parsley over the stew just before serving.
- Cool Down & Serve: Allow to cool completely before serving to your dog.
- Storage: Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days or freeze for later use.
