Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless chicken thighs
- 2 fresh apples (Gala or Fuji)
- 1 cup carrots, chopped
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Start by chopping your chicken into bite-sized pieces. Wash and dice the apples and carrots, ensuring they’re all roughly the same size for even cooking.
- Heat a splash of broth in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped chicken and sauté until golden brown, about 8 to 10 minutes.
- Toss in the apples and carrots, followed by the remaining broth. Cover and let it simmer for around 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let it cool. Before serving, sprinkle with fresh parsley.
Notes
Feel free to experiment with the cooking time based on your dog’s preferences. Always use low-sodium broth.
