Ingredients
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
- 1 cup whole wheat flour (or gluten-free blend)
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup coconut oil (melted)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan with coconut oil.
- Combine the pumpkin puree, coconut oil, and egg in a large mixing bowl until blended.
- Gently fold in the blueberries.
- Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and cinnamon in a separate bowl.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Spoon the batter into the greased donut pan, filling each mold three-quarters full.
- Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool slightly before removing from the pan.
- Cool completely before serving to your pup.
Notes
These donuts can be stored in an airtight container for up to three days or frozen for up to three months.
