Ingredients

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour (or gluten-free blend)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil (melted)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan with coconut oil.
  2. Combine the pumpkin puree, coconut oil, and egg in a large mixing bowl until blended.
  3. Gently fold in the blueberries.
  4. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and cinnamon in a separate bowl.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  6. Spoon the batter into the greased donut pan, filling each mold three-quarters full.
  7. Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before removing from the pan.
  9. Cool completely before serving to your pup.
