Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup pureed pumpkin
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup flour (whole wheat or oat flour)
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley or basil, finely chopped
- 1 clove fresh garlic, minced (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix ground beef, pureed pumpkin, egg, and flour in a large mixing bowl.
- Add finely chopped herbs and garlic, and fold them into the mixture.
- Form mixture into bite-sized meatballs, about an inch in diameter.
- Bake on a lined baking sheet for 20-25 minutes until browned and cooked through.
- Cool completely before serving to your dog.
Notes
If you want a crusty exterior, you can broil the meatballs for the last few minutes. Always let them cool to room temperature to avoid discomfort for your pet.
