  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 24 treats

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup grated fresh carrots
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour (or oat flour for gluten-free)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup natural peanut butter (without xylitol)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas until smooth using a fork. Add in the grated carrots.
  3. Mix in the peanut butter, cinnamon, and egg until everything is well combined.
  4. Gradually add the whole wheat flour, stirring until the mixture forms a dough.
  5. Roll out the dough to about ½ inch thickness on a floured surface. Use cookie cutters to shape the treats.
  6. Place the cutouts on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges turn golden brown.
  7. Let the treats cool completely on a wire rack before serving them to your pups.

Notes
