Ingredients

  • 1 medium apple, diced
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Core and dice the apple into small chunks, leaving the skin on.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, diced apple, and cranberries.
  4. Whisk together the egg, peanut butter, and cinnamon in another bowl.
  5. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until it forms a dough.
  6. Roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thick on a floured surface and cut into shapes.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let the treats cool completely before serving.
