Delicious and nutritious dog treats made with peanut butter and pumpkin, perfect for your furry friend.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened peanut butter
  • 1 cup pumpkin purée
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • Water (as needed)

Instructions

  1. Mix the peanut butter and pumpkin purée in a large bowl until smooth.
  2. Whisk together the flour and baking powder in a separate bowl.
  3. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the peanut butter mixture and mix until combined.
  4. Crack the egg into the bowl and stir it in.
  5. Add water as needed to reach a manageable dough consistency.
  6. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  7. Roll out the dough to about half an inch thick on a floured surface.
  8. Cut into shapes using cookie cutters or slice into squares.
  9. Place treats in the air fryer basket with space in between for even cooking.
  10. Cook for 10-12 minutes until golden brown and fragrant.
  11. Remove from air fryer and let cool completely on a wire rack.
  12. Serve to your pup and enjoy!
