  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  2. Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt, then gradually fold into the wet ingredients.

  6. Scoop the dough onto parchment-lined baking sheets, leaving space for spreading.
