A refreshing summer treat for your furry friends made from ripe watermelon, perfect for cooling them down on hot days.

  • Total Time: 240 minutes
  • Yield: 20 treats

Ingredients

  • 4 cups ripe, seedless watermelon, diced
  • 1/2 cup coconut water (optional)
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt (optional)
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the watermelon: Slice your watermelon into chunks, removing any seeds you find. Toss the chunks into a blender.
  2. Blend: Add a splash of coconut water or water if you want a slushier texture. Blend until smooth.
  3. Make it creamy (optional): If adding yogurt, blend it in until well integrated. This will create an ultra-creamy Watermelon Freeze.
  4. Pour: Carefully pour the mixture into ice cube trays or silicone molds.
  5. Freeze: Place the trays in the freezer and allow them to set for 240–360 minutes or until completely frozen.
  6. Serve: Pop the frozen treats out of the molds and serve them to your excited pup. Enjoy the show as they lick and play!
