Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- For garlic bread: good-quality bread, garlic, herbs, butter, and olive oil
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: Boil salted water, add fettuccine, cook until al dente, and reserve a cup of pasta water.
- Sauté the Chicken: Heat oil in a skillet, season chicken, sear for 6-7 minutes on each side, then remove and slice.
- Create the Alfredo Sauce: Melt butter in the skillet, add garlic, then heavy cream; simmer, and mix in parmesan until smooth.
- Combine: Toss the cooked fettuccine in the sauce and top with sliced chicken.
- Prepare the Garlic Bread: Preheat oven to 375°F, spread garlic herb butter on bread, bake until golden.
- Serve and Enjoy: Plate alfredo with chicken, garnish with parsley, and serve with garlic bread.
Notes
Feel free to add spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, or mushrooms for extra flavor.
