Ingredients
- 8 cups Water (for brewing)
- 4-6 Black Tea Bags (preferably Luzianne or Lipton)
- 1 to 2 cups Granulated Sugar (depending on sweetness preference)
- Ice (for serving)

Instructions
- Boil the Water: Bring 8 cups of water to a rolling boil in a large pot.
- Brew the Tea: Turn off the heat and add the tea bags. Let steep for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Sweeten: Remove the tea bags and stir in 1 to 2 cups of granulated sugar while the tea is warm.
- Chill: Transfer the sweet tea to a pitcher and refrigerate until chilled.
- Serve: Fill glasses with ice, pour over chilled sweet tea, and garnish with a lemon slice if desired.
Notes
For best flavor, use fresh water and adjust sugar to your taste. Consider adding a sprig of fresh mint for fragrance.
