- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup natural peanut butter (unsweetened)
- 1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
- 1 beaten egg
- 2 tablespoons honey (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, rolled oats, and peanut butter until crumbly.
- Add in the blueberries and beaten egg, and drizzle in the honey if using. Mix until well combined.
- On a floured surface, roll out the dough to about ¼-inch thick and cut into strips for twisting.
- Shape and twist each strip, placing them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and firm. Let cool completely before serving.
Notes
Make sure not to overbake to maintain the chewy texture. Store in an airtight container for up to a week or freeze for up to three months.
