Ingredients
- 1 lb Salmon (fresh or canned)
- 1 cup Carrots (sliced)
- 1 cup Peas (fresh or frozen)
- 1 tbsp Coconut oil
- 1/4 cup Herbs (parsley or dill)
Instructions
- Prepare the Salmon: Preheat your oven to 375°F. Place the salmon on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and season it lightly with coconut oil. Bake for 15-20 minutes until cooked through, then let it cool before flaking into small pieces.
- Cook the Vegetables: While the salmon bakes, heat a tablespoon of coconut oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chopped carrots and peas, sautéing until tender, about 5-7 minutes.
- Mix it All Together: In a large bowl, combine the flaked salmon with the sautéed vegetables. Stir in chopped herbs, and if you wish, a spoonful of plain yogurt for a creamy touch that aids digestion.
- Serve and Store: Allow the mixture to cool completely before serving it in your pup’s bowl. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
Notes
Ensure all bones are removed from the salmon and avoid using harmful ingredients like onion and excessive salt.
