Ingredients
- 1 cup canned pumpkin (pure pumpkin puree)
- 1/2 cup natural peanut butter (smooth, no xylitol)
- 1 egg (or flax egg)
- 2 cups whole wheat flour (or oat/almond flour)
- 1 tablespoon honey (or maple syrup)
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine canned pumpkin, peanut butter, and egg in a mixing bowl. Mix thoroughly.
- Add whole wheat flour and baking powder. Stir until no dry flour remains, adding a splash of water if necessary.
- Grease a cake pan and pour your batter into it.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool completely before serving it to your pup.
Notes
Optionally, decorate with an extra scoop of peanut butter or dog-friendly treats on top.
