No reviews

A refreshing frozen treat for dogs made with pineapple and coconut milk, perfect for hot summer days.

  • Total Time: 4-6 hours
  • Yield: 10 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe pineapple, chopped
  • 1 cup full-fat coconut milk
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
  • Water as needed for blending

Instructions

  1. Prepare the ingredients: Start by cutting the fresh pineapple into small chunks. Measure out your coconut milk and any water if you’re using it as a thinning agent.
  2. Blend it up: In a blender or food processor, combine the pineapple chunks and coconut milk. If you’re using water, add that in, too. Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  3. Taste test: Taste the mixture (just a spoonful for you!) to check if it needs a bit of honey for extra sweetness.
  4. Mold it: Carefully pour the mixture into dog-friendly silicone molds or ice cube trays. Leave a bit of space at the top for expansion.
  5. Freeze: Place the molds in the freezer for at least 240-360 minutes or until solid.
  6. Enjoy: To serve, pop out the frozen treats and enjoy watching your doggo’s delight!

Notes

Always use dog-friendly ingredients and avoid any additives. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer.
