Ingredients
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 cups chocolate chips (milk or semi-sweet)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
- Red food coloring
Instructions
- Prepare the Baking Pan: Line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper.
- Melt the Chocolate Mixture: In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in sweetened condensed milk, then gradually add chocolate chips until melted and smooth.
- Add Flavor: Remove from heat and stir in peppermint extract.
- Pour and Swirl: Pour two-thirds of the chocolate mixture into the pan. To the remaining third, add red food coloring and stir. Pour the red mixture over the first layer.
- Create a Swirl: Use a knife or toothpick to swirl the mixtures together.
- Chill: Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 120 minutes until set.
- Serving: Pull from the pan using parchment overhang and cut into squares.
- Store: Keep leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
