Ingredients
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
- 1 cup pumpkin puree (100% pure)
- ½ cup unsweetened peanut butter
- 1 egg
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix in a large bowl 2 cups of whole wheat flour and ½ teaspoon of cinnamon.
- Add in another bowl 1 cup of pumpkin puree, ½ cup of peanut butter, and 1 egg until smooth.
- Combine gradually adding the dry mixture into the wet ingredients until a dough forms.
- Roll out the dough to about ½ inch thick and cut into shapes with cookie cutters.
- Bake on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool completely on a wire rack before serving to your pup.
Notes
These treats can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week, or frozen for up to three months.
