- 1 cup rolled oats (or ground flaxseed)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (or melted coconut oil)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix together the peanut butter, broth, and egg in a large bowl until smooth.
- Add the whole wheat flour and oats, mixing until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface and roll it out to ¼-inch thickness.
- Cut out shapes using cookie cutters and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool on a wire rack and store in an airtight container for up to two weeks, or freeze for longer storage.
Notes
Ensure the peanut butter is free of xylitol, which is toxic to dogs. Allow treats to cool completely before storing.
