Ingredients
- 1 cup peanut butter (xylitol-free)
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 2 cups whole wheat flour (or coconut/almond flour for gluten-free)
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon honey or molasses (optional)
- Water (as needed)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine peanut butter, oats, flour, egg, and honey or molasses. Mix until a dough forms.
- If the dough feels too dry, add water gradually until it reaches a workable consistency.
- On a floured surface, roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thick. Cut into shapes with cookie cutters or squares.
- Place cookies on a lined baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Let them cool completely on a wire rack before serving.
Notes
Customize these cookies with different nut butters or flavors. Always ensure peanut butter is xylitol-free as it’s toxic to dogs.
