Delicious and healthy homemade dog treats made with fresh parsley and mint that your furry friends will love.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh mint, finely chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened peanut butter
  • Water (as needed)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine flour, parsley, and mint in a large bowl.
  3. Stir together the egg and peanut butter in another bowl until well blended.
  4. Add the flour-herb mixture to the peanut butter mixture gradually, combining to form a dough.
  5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about half an inch thick.
  6. Use a cookie cutter to shape the treats.
  7. Bake on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper for 20-25 minutes.
  8. Cool completely before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container; they remain fresh for about a week or longer if refrigerated.
