A rich and creamy cheesecake made with crushed Oreo cookies, perfect for family gatherings and special occasions.

  • Total Time: 75 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings

Ingredients

  • 24 Oreo cookies, finely crushed
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup whipped cream (optional for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, mix the crushed Oreo cookies with melted butter until all crumbs are well-coated.
  3. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to create an even layer.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with granulated sugar until smooth and creamy.
  5. Add the vanilla extract and mix well.
  6. Gradually add the eggs, one at a time, ensuring each is fully incorporated before adding the next.
  7. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the prepared crust and smooth out the top with a spatula.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes, or until the center is set but still slightly jiggly.
  9. Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside for an additional hour to cool gradually.
  10. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.

Notes

For a marbled effect, reserve some crumb mixture and sprinkle it on top before chilling. Top with whipped cream and additional crushed Oreos for an elevated presentation.
