Ingredients
- 24 Oreo cookies, finely crushed
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup whipped cream (optional for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
- In a medium bowl, mix the crushed Oreo cookies with melted butter until all crumbs are well-coated.
- Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to create an even layer.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with granulated sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Add the vanilla extract and mix well.
- Gradually add the eggs, one at a time, ensuring each is fully incorporated before adding the next.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the prepared crust and smooth out the top with a spatula.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes, or until the center is set but still slightly jiggly.
- Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside for an additional hour to cool gradually.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool completely at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
Notes
For a marbled effect, reserve some crumb mixture and sprinkle it on top before chilling. Top with whipped cream and additional crushed Oreos for an elevated presentation.
