Instructions
- Prepare the Ingredients: Chop your vegetables, slice the sausage, and set aside all sauces.
- Heat the Skillet: In a large skillet, heat a drizzle of olive oil over medium heat.
- Cook the Sausage: Add the sausage slices to the pan and sauté until browned and slightly crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
- Sauté the Vegetables: Add the chopped onions and bell peppers and cook until tender, approximately 3-4 minutes.
- Add Mushrooms: Stir in mushrooms and cook until softened.
- Add Garlic: Stir in minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Incorporate Pasta and Sauce: Toss in the cooked pasta, honey BBQ sauce, and seasonings. Stir until everything is well-coated.
- Simmer: Let the mixture simmer for a few minutes to meld flavors.
- Serve Hot: Garnish with fresh herbs.
Notes
Don’t skimp on the garlic for depth of flavor. Allow the sauce to caramelize slightly for a more robust taste.
