Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup fresh vegetables (carrots, zucchini, peas)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup fresh herbs (parsley or basil)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Olive oil for sautéing

Instructions

  1. Wash and chop your selected vegetables finely.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil, and sauté the chopped veggies for about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Combine the sautéed vegetables with rolled oats, egg, herbs, and garlic powder in a mixing bowl.
  4. Add water to help the mixture come together.
  5. Shape the mixture into small, bite-sized patties.
  6. Cook the fritters in the skillet over medium heat for about 5 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
  7. Remove from the skillet and let them cool on a cooling rack.
  8. Serve as is or crumbled over dog food.

Notes

These fritters can be frozen for up to two months. Thaw before serving.
