Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour (or oat flour/coconut flour)
  • 1/2 cup natural unsweetened peanut butter
  • 1 egg (or 1 mashed banana as substitute)
  • 1/4 cup water or low-sodium chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. Mix the dry ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats and flour.
  3. Blend the wet ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together peanut butter, egg, and water or broth.
  4. Combine the wet mix to the dry mix, stirring until well combined.
  5. Roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thick on a floured surface.
  6. Cut into fun shapes using cookie cutters.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden.
  8. Cool on a wire rack before serving.
