Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup whole wheat flour (or oat flour/coconut flour)
- 1/2 cup natural unsweetened peanut butter
- 1 egg (or 1 mashed banana as substitute)
- 1/4 cup water or low-sodium chicken broth
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
- Mix the dry ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats and flour.
- Blend the wet ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together peanut butter, egg, and water or broth.
- Combine the wet mix to the dry mix, stirring until well combined.
- Roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thick on a floured surface.
- Cut into fun shapes using cookie cutters.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden.
- Cool on a wire rack before serving.
Notes
Ensure to use dog-safe peanut butter without xylitol. Store cookies in an airtight container for up to a week, or freeze for longer storage.
