- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Mix until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually fold this mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Pour into the prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool for 10 minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

For an intensified lemon flavor, create a lemon glaze by mixing powdered sugar with lemon juice and drizzling it over the cooled brownies.
