Ingredients
- 1 cup natural unsweetened peanut butter
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup honey or molasses
- 2 cups whole wheat flour (or oat/almond flour for gluten-free)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- Optional: low-sodium chicken or beef broth, pureed pumpkin, or a pinch of cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, eggs, and honey or molasses until creamy.
- Gradually add in whole wheat flour and baking powder, mixing until a soft dough forms.
- If using optional flavors, fold them in.
- Flour your work surface and roll out the dough to ¼ inch thick.
- Cut cookies into desired shapes and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool completely on a wire rack before serving.
