Delicious and nutritious dog treats made with wholesome ingredients that your furry friend will love.

  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 20 treats

Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup natural peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 beaten egg
  • Water (as needed)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the ingredients in a large mixing bowl: combine flour, oats, peanut butter, pumpkin puree, and the beaten egg. Stir until it forms a dough.
  3. Shape the treats by rolling out the dough to about 1/4 inch thickness and cutting out shapes with cookie cutters.
  4. Bake on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 25-30 minutes until firm and golden.
  5. Cool completely before serving. Store in an airtight container for up to a week.

Notes

Ensure you use peanut butter without xylitol or added sugars. Store treats in an airtight container and consider freezing for longer freshness.
