Delicious homemade dog biscuits made with peanut butter and whole wheat flour, perfect for your furry friend!

  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: Batch varies (approximately 24 biscuits)

Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened, unsalted peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 egg (or a flax egg for vegan option)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the flour, peanut butter, broth, and honey until it forms a cohesive dough.
  3. If the dough is too sticky, add a little extra flour to help mold it.
  4. Roll out the dough to about 1/4-inch thickness on a lightly floured surface and cut into shapes with cookie cutters.
  5. Place the cut-outs on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Cool completely before serving and store in an airtight container for up to two weeks.

Notes

For added flavor and nutrition, consider adding pureed pumpkin or shredded carrots to the dough!
