Ingredients

  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup finely grated carrots
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the chicken broth, egg, and grated carrots until well combined.
  3. Gradually stir in the whole wheat flour and oats, mixing gently until a soft dough forms.
  4. On a floured surface, roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thick.
  5. Cut out shapes with cookie cutters and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Allow them to cool completely before serving.

Notes
