Delicious and nutritious chew sticks for dogs made with ripe bananas and peanut butter.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup peanut butter (natural, unsweetened)
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas in a large bowl until smooth.
  3. Stir in the peanut butter until fully combined.
  4. Add the egg and honey, whisking until smooth.
  5. Gradually add the whole wheat flour and oats, mixing until a dough forms.
  6. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about half an inch thick.
  7. Cut the dough into fun shapes or strips.
  8. Place the cut-outs on the prepared baking sheet and bake for about 20-25 minutes.
  9. Allow them to cool completely before serving to your pup.
