- 1 cup all-natural peanut butter (no xylitol)
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce (or mashed banana)
- 1.5 cups whole wheat flour (or oat flour/brown rice flour for allergies)
- 1 cup rolled oats (or ground flaxseed as a substitute)
- 1 pinch of cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix in a bowl, combine peanut butter, egg, and applesauce until fully combined.
- Add in the whole wheat flour and oats gradually to create a dough; add more flour if sticky.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick and shape it with cookie cutters.
- Bake the cutouts for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool completely on a wire rack before serving.
